Robotics Classes in Singapore for Ages 7–18

We don't just build robots. We teach students to explain exactly how they work.

At Cognitive Systems Academy™, our robotics classes go beyond assembling
parts and running code. Using our Explainable Intelligence™ Framework,
students learn to build intelligent robotic systems — and then explain the
decisions, behaviours, and logic behind every movement. Trained by

Singapore's FLL Grand Champion Master Trainers, your child doesn't just compete. They understand.

Why CSA Robotics Is Different

Over 14 years of STEM

2012 Founded WondersWork Robotics

Pioneering STEM INVENTION PROGRAM

Space Invention Programs collaboration with TriVector Nasa Engineer

STEM Programs used by schools,

Clubs, Museums.

Robotic Curriculum used by schools world wide.

Most robotics schools in Singapore teach students to build robots that work.

CSA teaches students to build robots they can explain.

Our trainers are FLL Grand Champions — the highest competitive achievement in FIRST LEGO League robotics in Singapore.

This means your child learns from educators who have not only taught robotics at the highest level but have won at it.

Our robotics programme is backed by the Cognitive Intelligence Lab and developed under the Applied Computational Intelligence Institute (ACII) —
giving our curriculum academic rigour that no typical enrichment centre
can match.

What Your Child Learns in Our Robotics Classes

Our AI Robotics Course integrates hardware design, coding, and systems
thinking into one coherent learning experience. Students progress through
three stages:

Foundations — Understanding how robots receive input, process instructions,
and produce movement. Students build basic robotic systems and learn to
explain cause and effect.

Intelligent Systems — Exploring how robots make decisions, respond to
sensors, and behave under different conditions. Students observe, test,
and debug system behaviour.

Applied Systems — Designing and refining complex robotic systems through
real programming, iteration, and structured explanation of design choices.

Every stage is built on the Explainable Intelligence™ Framework — the same
approach used at Harvard (CS50) and MIT, where understanding always comes
before memorising.

Robotics Classes That Support Your Child's DSA Portfolio

fll team

Direct School Admission (DSA) in Computing and Robotics is one of the most competitive pathways into Singapore secondary schools.

Our robotics programme builds the skills, project portfolio, and competition experience that DSA panels look for.

Students who complete our AI Robotics Course develop:

— Hands-on robotics project portfolio

— Structured problem-solving and debugging skills

— Competition readiness for FLL, NRC, and WRO

— The ability to articulate and present how their systems work

— a critical DSA interview skill.

Contact us to find out how our robotics programme supports your child's DSA pathway.

Frequently Asked Questions — Robotics Classes Singapore

What age group are your robotics classes for?

Our robotics classes are designed for students aged 7 to 18 in Singapore, from complete beginners to advanced learners preparing for competitions.

Do you need prior experience to join?

No. Our programme starts from the foundations and progresses at each student's pace. No prior robotics or coding experience is needed.

What makes CSA robotics different from other schools?

We are the only robotics school in Singapore using the Explainable Intelligence™ Framework — where students don't just build robots, they learn to understand and explain how their systems behave. Our trainers are FLL Grand Champions.

Does your robotics programme help with DSA?

Yes. Our course develops hands-on project portfolios and competition experience directly relevant to DSA Computing and DSA Robotics applications for Singapore secondary schools.

What competitions can my child participate in?

Students trained by CSA are prepared for FIRST LEGO League (FLL), the National Robotics Competition (NRC), and the World Robot Olympiad (WRO).
